Biblical Parenting Tips Book

Young Adults of Worth’s parenting tips book called raised UP is now available.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a manual to guide parents and grandparents through the difficult challenges of raising a child? There is, and the Bible is that manual. We have creatively extracted these principles into Biblical Parenting Tips that you can put to use for your family.

Studies have shown that 70% of Christian raised young adults walk away from their faith after high school. To assist parents, this book provides Biblical guidance on what you can do to increase the chances of your child staying in a relationship with Christ. No one can give you a magic formula or a guarantee; however, God does give us parenting principles in His word. As Proverbs 22:6 says, He instructs us how to “Direct our children onto the right path”.

This book is a compilation of Christian parenting blogs, which give parents and grandparents Biblical instruction on how to raise their children. Most of them are short, quick reads. They will give you guidance on how to become a better parent and grandparent. You will be on the path to raising your children the way God desires.

Paperback and eBook versions are available.

Ken Leaman

Ken Leaman has a passion for students, and for over 30 years has been volunteering within churches and other ministries, leading and mentoring students. These churches are:

Ken works for Amazon Web Services as a Support Operations Manager. Ken has also served on the boards of other non-profits like the DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast, and the DFW Help Desk Institute.

Ken, and his wife Karen, have been married for 31 years, and have a 30 year old son. They live in Allen, TX, just North of Dallas.

As Ken and Karen repeatedly witnessed many Christian students who were active within the Church walk away from their faith shortly after graduating high school, they grew frustrated.  Studies show that about 70% of young adults leave their faith after graduation, which is a huge issue since they are the future of the Church.  After much prayer and searching God's direction for many years, the Leaman's felt His calling to start a ministry to address this problem.  In 2014, they gathered like minded Christian professionals to help begin Young Adults of Worth Ministries.  We believe that this ministry is from God, and it will be blessed by Him for His glory alone.
